Overall
I was late to try the Superblast and wish I would have gotten on board sooner. It is proving to be very durable. For me it is the ultimate in versatility. Snappy enough for quick running, cushioned enough to run long,

Overall
As an ex track and field college athlete and having a surgically repaired achilles, I gave this shoe a try as an alternative to carbon plated shoes. So far it’s been great, very responsive and cushioned. I’ve done a few 10K and a couple of 12 milers on them. Very comfortable. Not a lot to say on durability as I’ve had them for approx. 10 weeks only.

The only complaint i have about this shoe is that the tongue is too long, and rubs against my foot. I have solved this problem by folding it down and tying the laces over it, but I would prefer not to have to do this. The shoe is very comfortable and responsive, and is good for easy runs and speedwork. It does show dirt and wear.

I run 18+ miles several times per week and these shoes are great to have in the rotation. I have 400+ miles in them and they have essentially no wear. I don't miss the carbon plate and feel like they are great for wet or dry miles.

This is probably the best overall daily trainer I have ever run in. I typically don’t run in ASICS, but given the outstanding reviews on LRC Better Shoes, I decided to give them a try. They are worth every penny and effortlessly take 15 seconds off each mile.
The last shoe I felt this strongly about, and coincidentally selected because of overwhelmingly positive reviews on the old LRC Shoe Review site, was the Adidas Boston 8. While a completely different type of shoe, it brings back the same joy and effortless propulsion I fondly recall from that old Boston.
Good job ASICS. Good job LRC Better Shoes.
