Best shoe for middle and highschoolers, But only for short races

Anonymous runner · Oct 30, 2024

3/5

Overall

The Brooks Hyperion Max is a solid running shoe that impressed me. From the moment I put them on, I could tell they were super lightweight and felt great on my feet. They're perfect for fast runs and shorter distances.
One of the best things about them is the cushioning. The DNA FLASH midsole makes it feel like I'm running on firm, responsive clouds, but it still gives me enough support. I love how bouncy and responsive they think, especially when I’m running at a faster pace.
The design is also pretty cool. They have a sleek, modern look that isn’t too flashy. My feet stay cool because the upper part is breathable, and they fit just right without being too tight.
Another bonus is the traction on the outsole. I've worn them for muddy XC races, and they grip well. I didn’t slip at all.
Overall, I think the Brooks Hyperion Max is an awesome choice for anyone who likes to run fast, whether you’re training for a race or just going for a jog. I recommend giving them a shot!

Review from a rookie

5/5

Overall

So far my first and only pair of running shoes but, in my experience with races and training, these are great shoes overall. They are extremely well priced especially with the discounts. The shoes have a spongy feel to them (good way) that make running on trails, tracks, and road. It is extremely breathable and lightweight.

Good Speed Day Shoe

Anonymous runner · Jun 14, 2024

5/5

Overall

This is a good speed day shoes that I found to be very durable and have good responsiveness and protection. I also enjoy that it doesn't have a carbon plate. I think this is a great shoe and I'm happy I bought it. It's more or less true to size but has a pretty wide toe box.

Light, Fast, and Supportive

Anonymous runner · Apr 13, 2024

5/5

Overall

Almost on par with a Vaporfly. The midfoot is stiff which makes for a rocker-like ride and great energy return. Can wear for everyday runs when you want to save your legs, tempo runs or races. Only issue is it's easy to roll your ankle as the side-to-side stability is lacking.
