Responsive, light, but lacks durability

4/5

Overall

The Breakthru 3 is a great shoe that leaves your running feeling lighter as it is lightweight (9oz I believe) and feels comfortable on both speedwork and long runs. [*I do primarily forefoot strike, this shoe does have less cushioning than a lot of other shoes out their so it may not be as comfortable for heel-strikers] That being said, it has terrible durability. I only have 230 miles and the outsole is already peeling off and I may have to buy another shoe.

Good shoe that seems to always be on sale

I feel like this shoe is undervalued. A lot lighter feeling than the ride. A good comfortable inexpensive netural shoe.

Great All-around Shoe

4/5

Overall

Similar to the Kinvara but with more drop and a little stiffer cushioning. Ride is smooth, and the shoe is light enough for some speedwork and tempos but is also great for everyday runs and long runs. Great on the road but the grip is also good enough to be trusted on dry single track. Pretty much can be used for and excel at anything. Only problem I had was some rubbing on the outside of my ankle. The durability is also great, I have over 300 miles in my pair and there is still plenty of life left in the midsole and no holes in the upper.

Good all around trainer

5/5

Overall

This shoe is all-around pretty good. One of the better Saucony shoes I have owned. Light, yet supportive. I am a mild overpronater, these are neutral, but I have been just fine. Very decent shoe selection. Would recommend to a friend.
