Saucony Kinvara 10

5/5

Overall

I have run in every iteration of the Saucony Kinvara. Excpet for the 2, they have improved each version. I like the comfort, flexbility, and feel of the shoe. It works on most surfaces (not the most technical trails) and I use them for runs of all types. It is a kick ass shoe.

Middle Distance Holy Grail

5/5

Overall

I've gone through 20+ pairs of Kinvaras. I wear them for everything from long runs to longer track intervals. They're light and responsive enough for strides at 800 pace, but just enough shoe to get me through a 14 mile run.

Saucony Kinvara 10

5/5

Overall

Excellent cushioning and a really comfortable upper. These reduced foot and leg fatigue quite a bit in my last marathon. The Kinvara 9 fit me a little better, but the sole on these don't pick up as much gravel, so that's a plus. Fits a ½ size larger than the 9.

Keeps the Better Part of The Type / Lineage

4/5

Overall

These have been a regular part of my rotation since 2012 (version 2). While the updates sometimes throw the baby out with the bathwater, the Kinvara 10 seems to keep the good-- mostly. Use it as my trainer and racing for distances longer than 10k. The fit remains good for my high-arched feet. The sole material is more durable yet remains soft-- gone is the issue of soft, vulnerable sections of foam. However, most models have SOMETHING-- for the 10s, my pair seems to wear prematurely at the ankle collar.
