Solid trail shoe. Runs a bit small

Overall
I’ve run in several versions of the Peregrine. I’d intended to get another 13, but opted for the 14 due to a sale and concern about the 13’s integrity. I also bumped up half a size, from my normal 9.5 to 10, because they cramped my toes a bit. Not for short runs (I do up to 5 miles in my gtx 13s) but I need more room in the toebox for longer efforts. And especially downhill. I’ve used the same strategy for previous versions of the Peregrine. This iteration does seem a bit bouncier and more cushioned, but still comfortably firm with adequate ground feel. More than my Xodus Ultra 1s. One slight concern is a bit more height on the heel collar, raising concerns of hotspots there, but that faded after my first mile. Still keeping an eye on that.
