Kayano 26 - Fine Update of a Great Shoe

Overall

After dropping off for a couple of editions, Kayano was back to glory with it's 25th editions and 26 continues the trend. Build, cushioning throughout and structure are first rate and it looks fine, too. Only quibble as a wide-footed runner is lack of color choices.

I only run in Asics

Overall

All of my adult running career from 30years old and beyond I have been wearing Asics and the last several pairs have all been Gel Kayano. I have tempormental knees from years of track and field and crew- and flat feet. I don't feel as well supported in anything else.

Asics Kayano - tried and true

Overall

Running in my 17th straight pair of Asics Kayano's. Switched from the 2000. Love the upper of the K's. Platform feels very similar in both. I continue to be disappointed that Asic dropped their 2140-2160 line - they were a better shoe in many ways. But these Kayano's are working very well. I tend to run 40-80 mpw and weigh 175 pounds - typically get between 450 and 550 miles per pair. The Kayano's still look good with 550 miles.
