Have run in the new Kayano's and for comfort and cushioning they are fantastic. Easily the best shoe I have ever run in and that is 41 years of running. Unfortunately the upper toe box needs improvement as they are splitting on both sides and I have maybe only done 100 miles in them. I would expect a little more durability from the amount paid.

First off, I’m 68 years old and my “running” now is a slow, very slow jog compared to my youth. The newest version of the Kayano is redesigned for 2023. Great cushioning on a very stable platform. Quite comfortable on dirt or pavement. Note on sizing…I’ve worn Gel Kayano’s for many, many years and through all of the updates US size 8.5 fit perfectly. In this new edition size 9 gives me the right fit.

I find this shoe,honestly speaking,best ,after trying many shoes, for past 8 years ,running in 6 countries,in Malaysia,India,Singapore ,Thailand,Indonesia,Australia from 5 km to Full marathons and other distances,so I recommend this to runners ,who love running and winning too:I was in Top 5 in Hatyai, Thailand in my age group and also Top 5 in Melbourne, Australia in my age group ;I don't find any flaws in this shoe,hope it also works for you,praying you may win some race somewhere in this world-happy running,all the best,good luck my good friends all over the world,shoes are my best friends !!!
