Overall

Narrow straight cushioned shoe with few mechanisms for guidance or correction. For a midfoot/ forefoot striker with a narrow foot; it's a simple and smooth shoe.

Needs an extra lace loop

Really good shoe but i had to make an additional lace loop as i felt my foot wobbled quite a bit otherwise. Very comfy though across all distances and speeds.

Very narrow fit leads to injuries

I suppose this is an issue with fit rather than the shoe. I wear standard width in all other brands of shoes, but these did not fit in standard width. They were too long, and still very narrow. In addition, the upper does a poor job of holding the foot in place over the sole, and the midsole is very soft in all the wrong places. The upshot of this was that I roled my ankle several times in this shoe.

Loved the pegasus for years

I ran in the pegasus for many years until I started getting stress-fractures (which I attribute to training error, not the shoe). This shoe was great and has been a go-to for me for many different types of races, training etc. Now I've switched to a more cushioned shoe for training but I prefer to race in the pegasus as it offers support while still being fast
