Great shoe, still over-priced...

Overall

Super comfy. Super cushioned. Tight in the mid-foot, but not constricted. Gret colourways on offer. My only gripe, still about 20% over priced. In a year it’ll be in all ten outlets for a much reduced price.

Nike Pegasus 35, the workhouse

Overall

I've been running in the Peg 35 since the 28th version and this is my favorite version yet. It still provides the protection from the ground I need in a daily trainer but with some extra pop (most likely from the addition of full-length zoom air). It is relatively light and snappy for a trainer, but I wouldn't exactly hit the track in these. They are my favorite pegs yet and continue to be a shoe I know I can put on and get an easy 10 in any day of the week.

Very soft love the full length air cushioning. The look is great. Good transitioning for neutral runner. Strings don't slip untied easily. Overall a A1 shoe durability above average.

Pegasus 35 Review by a HS Runner

Overall

I purchased this shoe about a week and a half after release date in the dark grey/white colorway. APPEARANCE: When it arrived I was wowed by the way it looked in my hands. The pointed heel pulls inspiration from the vaporfly and allows for a really cool look. However, my only gripe with appearance was that on foot it looks VERY long. It is the opposite of the Peg 34s in that that show was very rounded and didnt appear stretched out. While the heel is very cool looking it does make ones foot look much longer than it is. CUSHION: The cushion is like no other nike shoe I have ever run in. I own the Zoom Fly and the Reacts and this cushioning is very amazing. The full length zoom gives you a cushioned yet responsive ride that is good on both asphalt and trails. I do not feel like my legs are getting pounded and I take my shoes off after runs feeling good and not to beaten up which I credit to my Pegasus 35s. DURABILITY: Cannot comment too much here considering I have only put in around 200 miles but at this point the shoes have held up amazingly and do not show ANY signs of wear outside of the normal rubber on the bottom. COMFORT: This is my lowest ranking area because in my first few runs the outside of my feet hurt very bad due to the narrowness of this shoe in comparison to the 34. I solved this by just tying them very loosely because they are almost a sock (connected tongue). I have them so loose to the point that they slip on and off and hardly ever retie my laces. VALUE: At 120 dollars these shoes are a good deal, they offer cushioning levels close to that of the react and the responsiveness that comes with this shoe makes it a perfect everyday trainer. I think this shoe can be beneficial to any runner no matter age or intensity. TL:DR I would upgrade to this from the 34 due to the cushioning. It truly is better although in the end it comes down to is the money it takes to upgrade worth that extra boost in cushion.

Nike Pegasus 35

I have trained in older versions of the Pegasus, off and on for 10 years. I always liked the shoe, but the 35's seem to be the best yet. The cushion is great for longer runs, and as I get older I appreciate the softness! I bought this shoe over the Brooks Launch and Saucony Ride, shoes I have also worn in the past. The reason I bought this shoe was partly looks, and the guy at Fleet Feet really sold me on it. He got me to try them on and I instantly liked them more than the Ride's. I really like the 'tounge' of the shoe. It stays put because it seems to be sewn that way. The shoe was a little more expensive than some other similar options, but the few extra dollars are worth it.
