Last years model, welcome to the super training shoes

Overall

Getting back into running after a few years away, these shoes are first shoes I ever felt both increased my speed but helped with recovery. Light weight, good for fast miles to long runs, I'm the type who just has one pair and runs with them for a few months, these definitely fit the bill. I have never been a Nike guy, but I'm going to be hard press to change. The pricing is actually very good if you get last years style, and I got my for $70. I might pass at full price but that is true for just about all shoes these days!

Overall

The Nike Pegasus has been around for a full generation of athletes. I recall wearing them during the mid-90s in high school. Now in my mid 40s, the Pegasus is still my go-to everyday trainer.

Stalwart Trainer in Most Iterations

Overall

The Nike Peg is a consistent, not at all flashy trainer. Not the prettiest, not the snappiest, but all-around solid. I've worn many iterations over the years because it's comfortable straight from the box and lasts 300+ miles depending on whether I'm alternating with another shoe.
