Overall
I’ve used this shoe for over 20 years to train in and have negated injuries and issues. I ran track and xc in high school and was a college sprinter that trained in these without issue. They bring great comfort and they look good too.

Lacing in the Pegasus 38 drove me bonkers, it was a PIA to tighten them. The 39s are vastly better about this. The outer sole is also improved, as some of the segments would peel off from glue that wasn’t good. That also has been improved.

The Nike Pegasus 39 is a great all-around shoe that I use for daily training. The shoe really shines for me at the 7:00-9:00 pace range. It is an extremely reliable shoe. While not being as bouncy or "fun" as other shoes, it is something that you can put on, knowing that it works, and get your miles in. This shoe is also extremely durable and will last you far more miles than of a typical shoe.
