Good support for neutral shoe

I havent run since high school, before 2000, and just started again about a year ago. I didnt want to get intoan expensive pair of shoes until i decided if i wanted to continue running after an initial 5k so i bought the Nike Swift SE from Academy's. I suffered from Achilles issues, constant shin splints, and some plantar, so i purchased a superfeet blue insole... still got injured. Finally i had enough and decided to buy another pair of shoes and these Pegs 36 give me ample arch support to not need insoles and the only issue i had was an achilles issue for a couple of days after about 85 miles in the shoe.

No issues with Pegasus 36

I’ve been running in Nike Air Pegasus since I began running in high school. I have two pair of 36’s that I alternate and a pair of college team 36’s that I wear as everyday shoes. I have had no issues with them, and I really like the top of the shoe that is a lot lighter than previous air pegasus. The top of shoe/tongue is typical Nike racing flat style which feels very light and nice on a trainer. The 36 continues the pointed heel that the 35 had, originally this took some getting used to from the 34s as it felt like my heel would slip out of it, but once I got used to the feeling on my heel, I haven’t noticed it again and haven’t had any problems. Overall, another great Pegasus shoe for me so far
