How it ranks
The Nike Air Zoom Vomero 14 trails most daily trainers in our data. Looks and cushioning are its strongest sub-ratings. Value scores well below its other sub-ratings. The rating rests on 31 runner reviews and 10 other rated shoes in the Vomero product line.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence will score low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.

“The tongue is now so thin the laces dig in to my feet and the shoe no longer holds the foot snug because the padding has gone”
“I logged 899km (560 miles) in them. The upper is little stretched and worn but rubber still great”
“The tongue hurt my ankle so bad I had a bruise”
“After about 300 miles on each shoe the sides burst out on me”
“The biggest drawback is durability—I have worn away the lugs towards the front of the foot within the first 100 miles of wear”
“Zoom pod in forefoot is uncomfortable to walk (but not run) on for about the first 100 miles”
“The Vomero 13s lasted me about 600 miles or so but the 14s just seem to fail on me every time”
“First 100 miles or so you can feel the pod in the front which can feel awkward at the start of runs and walking”
“Used it for training at 5 min/mile pace, gets sorta mushy but manageable if you tie the laces tight”
“Can literally do every type of run in this shoe. Great cushioning, some support, and a lot of response for the faster stuff too”
