Pros

  • Reviewers report 450 miles and more with little visible wear.
  • Reviewers use it for intervals, tempo work and long runs alike.
  • Many find the upper secure, and one reviewer says the toe box is roomier than on the Boston 7, which scores 96 on thirty-four reviews.

  • One reviewer finds it offers little stability and struggles late in a marathon in it.

Currently my favourite running shoe

5/5

Overall

Generally, I like Adidas Adizero shoes because I have quite narrow feet. The Boston 8 fits perfect for me and I use it especially for intervals and fast tempo runs. They always make me run faster as planed. I use them both for road and track. The look is quite unremarkable, but that´s not important for me anyway. For sure, not every shoe fits to every runner, but I recommend to test the Boston 8!

Adizero Boston 8 - great all-rounder!

Overall

Great shoe - light enough to do some good sessions in and yet has enough cushioning to handle longer runs too. An awesome shoe to race a half-marathon in. Sleek design. Good value.

Great for all distances

I have had this shoe for the past 4 months and have tracked about 450 miles but you wouldn't be able to feel a difference from the first day I got them. Perfect shoe for faster track days AND long runs. I have been very impressed with Adidas on this model.

Good lightweight trainer

4/5

Overall

I bought these shoes at a special price to use for uptempo training work and on marathon day. They are light, and I appreciate the springiness of the Boost foam. They offer no support at all so I struggled late in my marathon with them. But they’ve worked well for me on speed workouts, track work, and even hill repeats. I typically run in much more cushioned trainers like Brooks Ghost which, although it’s a neutral shoe, is wide enough to provide some stability. Be aware that’s not the case with the Adidas Boston 8. If you are a true neutral runner who likes some speed, these will serve you well as daily trainers. For me, I’ve relegated them to tempo and track days.

Adidas Boston

5/5

Overall

I have been running in the Adidas Boston for many years and many miles. I like that there is some cushion, but that I also have a good feel for the road. I wear these shoes for all my runs - short/easy/speed work/hills/long runs/races. I primarily train for marathons.
